Simply Computing offers two warranty programs for pre-owned products purchased at Simply Outlet, SimplyGuard Lite & SimplyGuard.
SimplyGuard Lite Extended Warranty Plan provides extended parts and labour warranty coverage for pre-owned Mac & iOS devices. It commences immediately following the Simply Computing 30-day limited warranty expiry and terminates at the end of the term specified on the original sales invoice. This plan does not include software support, telephone support, and coverage for other products, including iPhone.
SimplyGuard Extended Warranty Plan provides extended parts and labour coverage as well as two unexpected events for up to 5 years on your beloved Apple device. It commences immediately following the Apple one-year limited warranty expiry and terminates at the end of the term specified on the original sales invoice. This plan does not include software support, telephone support, and coverage for other products.
In the event your favourite Apple device gets damaged, it is more affordable to have unexpected event protection than repairing or replacing the device. New devices have limited repair options due to the shrinking form factor of modern computers and may require a whole unit replacement to resolve the issue. It is more important than ever to protect your device from unforeseen circumstances.
The Guaranteed Service Fee (GSF) Plan provides parts and labour repairs for a guaranteed fee after unintentional damage has occurred which is not covered by other warranties. It commences immediately from the invoice date and continues for as long as your account is in good standing, and terminates at the end of the term specified on the original sales invoice or upon the expiry of this agreement, whichever is soonest. GSF coverage only applies to operational or mechanical failure caused by mishandling that is the result of an unexpected and unintentional external event (e.g. drops and liquid contact) that arises from your normal daily usage of the Equipment as intended for such Equipment. GSF coverage does not cover theft of all or part of the Equipment, or cosmetic damage, or normal wear and tear or reckless conduct associated with handling and use of the Equipment.
SimplyGuard + provides all the same benefits as the standard SimplyGuard warranty with the exception that there is no GSF charge. Should an unexpected event occur, your device will be covered for repair or unit replacement at no charge. SimplyGuard+ provides up to two instances of unexpected event coverage.

*No Lemon Guarantee — If the device has three previous repairs to a major component (eg. logic board) and requires a fourth covered repair, the warranty provider will choose to provide a replacement device that is equal or better or issue a credit for the then-current replacement value. If the device was purchased new within 90 days of the fourth service claim, a new device that is equal or better will be provided as a replacement.

A service fee may be applicable when a device is damaged due to mishandling (eg. drops and liquid contact) and not caused by a manufacturer's defect. An event where damage is caused by mishandling is considered an unexpected event. Any malfunction that is determined to be due to a manufacturer's defect will not incur the service fee listed below.

We recommend that the extended warranty be purchased along with the device. However, it can be purchased within 60 days in-store only, after a complimentary diagnostic test and visual inspection for pre-existing damages are successfully completed. Purchasing the extended warranty at a later day does not provide a longer coverage; the coverage always starts on the device’s purchase date.
